為進一步凝聚校友資源，搭建海內外多方交流合作的平臺，1月20日下午，學校校友會海外分會線上會議暨“文化啟航”留學生迎春活動采用線上線下相結合的方式在學校19號樓1樓多功能廳舉行。校長🛤、校友總會會長謝華清，國際交流處處長姚莉，校友會辦公室主任黎霞，國際交流沐鸣（留學生辦公室）院長👰🏼、校友會留學生分會會長孫艷💇🏽‍♀️🤷‍♂️，教學質量管理辦公室主任陳冠玲，黨委宣傳部副部長呂嬋🍍，校友會辦公室副主任兼校長辦公室副主任徐孝蕾，校長辦公室副主任王小明，校友會歐洲分會會長何亞飛，國際交流處學生海外學習實習主管、校友會澳洲分會副會長於申，藝術與設計沐鸣教授王東輝，原工學部蔡池蘭教授🛼，校友會歐洲分會（瑞典）校友徐正昊，校友會留學生分會校友代表穆罕默德（烏茲別克斯坦）線下參會，校友會海外分會張毅舟、崔露丹、吳嶸👰🏿、張晨煌 🍖、孫思清等共25位校友代表線上參會🚴🏻‍♂️，以及60余位留學生現場參加會議和活動🌼。會議由黎霞主持。

For further cohesion of the alumni resources and building a platform for communication and cooperation between multiple parties at home and abroad, on January 20, 2024, the Online Conference of the Alumni Association’s Overseas Branch and the “Cultural Sailing” Spring Festival Activity for International Student were held in the multifunctional hall on the first floor of Building 19 of SSPU, with online and offline ways both. Principal and President of the Alumni Association, Xie Huaqing; Director of the International Office, Yao Li; Director of the Alumni Association Office, Li Xia; Director of the Alumni Association Office, Dean of the School of International Exchange (International Student Office) and President of the Alumni Association International Student Branch, Sun Yan; Chen Guanling, Director of the Teaching Quality Management Office; Lv Chan, Deputy Director of the Party Committee Propaganda Department; Xu Xiaolei, Deputy Director of the Alumni Association Office and Deputy, Director of the President’s Office; Wang Xiaoming, Deputy Director of the President of the Alumni Association European Branch; He Yafei, Director of the Alumni Association European Branch; Yu Shen, Director of Overseas Study Internship for Students at the International Exchange Office and Vice President of the Alumni Association Australian Branch; Professor Wang Donghui from the School of Art and Design; Professor Cai Chilan from the former Ministry of Engineering; Xu Zhenghao, Alumnus from Alumni Association European Branch (Sweden); and Alumni representative Muhammad (Uzbekistan) from the Alumni Association International Student Branch; as well as more than 60 international students attended the conference and activities on-site. A total of 25 alumni representatives from the Alumni Association Overseas Branch attended the conference online. Li Xia presided over the meeting.

校長🏆、校友總會會長謝華清首先向海外校友、留學生們表示感謝和問候♐️，並介紹了學校的最新發展狀況。他指出💸，學校各項事業高質量發展離不開廣大校友們的支持，隨著學校規模的不斷擴大、實力的不斷增強💇🏽，學校已將校友會建設與發展納入了發展規劃，校友工作近兩年成果顯著，校友會組織架構日益完善。其中，海外校友是學校校友中優秀的代表群體之一，也是二工大教育發展在國際上融合交流的重要成果。雖與海外校友相隔萬裏，但心始終緊貼在一起。希望海外校友通過校友會這個平臺積極探索，與母校展開交流合作🧂，並肩攜手，凝聚更多更廣泛的海外校友永遠關心、支持學校的發展👩🏽‍🎤💅。校長表示，學校的“變”就是把學校的發展目標🙂‍↔️、發展形勢，發展成就🗃，置於上海🧖🏻、全國乃至全球發展的語境中👩‍🦼，勵精圖治，在發展中求變，在求變中發展👨🏻‍🎓；而學校始終如一“不變”，堅守的是大學的責任和擔當🈹，大學的追求和精神，在發展中身置困難、甚至是艱苦中奮發圖強的這個過程中，不變的是需要廣大校友對母校一如既往的關註和支持，不變的是廣大校友是學校戰勝一切困難和挑戰的最大依靠和精神力量。奮楫金海千帆競😷，渡得龍舟日有光。2024年春節即將來臨，謝校長代表學校表示，衷心祝海外校友會在與母校的緊密團結中，攜手共進🟣，奮發有為。祝願海外校友身體健康🕣、龍騰四海。祝現場的留學生校友們假期快樂🛒，學業有成。

Principal and President of the Alumni Association, Xie Huaqing, expressed gratitude and greetings to overseas alumni and international students, and introduced the latest development of SSPU. He pointed out that the high-quality development in various areas of our school cannot be achieved without the support of alumni. With the continuous expansion and growing strength of the school, the construction and development of alumni associations has been incorporated into its development plan. Within recent two years, the alumni associations have achieved remarkable progress and the structure has become increasingly perfect. As one of the most outstanding representative groups among school alumni, overseas alumni associations remarked the important achievement of the integration and exchange on education development. Even we were thousands of miles away, our hearts bonded tightly. We hoped that overseas alumni associations would explore further communication and cooperation, and work together to rally strength of all overseas alumni to strive for the enhancement of our school. The principal stated that the “change” of our school referred to integrate our development goals, situation, and achievements into the needs of Shanghai, the whole country, and even the globe, and arouse our all efforts to make the school prosperous. Besides, our school would remain true to our original aspirations, that is to say, adhering to the responsibility and accountability, and value pursuit and spirit pillar of the university; and working energetically for prosperity in difficult situations which needs continued attention and support, as well as the reliance and spiritual strength from worldwide alumni, believing that our university would overcome all difficulties and challenges for sustainable prosperity. Launch out competition with stamina and diligence, fighting for in-sight triumph with ambition and conviction. On the occasion of the forthcoming 2024 Spring Festival, President Xie, on behalf of the school, sincerely wished the Overseas Alumni Association to work together and make progress in close unity with their alma mater, wished overseas alumni good health and bright future, and wished the international students and alumni on the spot a happy holiday and successful academic performance.

Yao Li, Director of the International Office; Sun Yan, Dean of the School of International Exchange (International Student Office) and President of the Alumni Association’s International Student Branch; He Yafei, President of the Alumni Association’s European Branch; Yu Shen, Director of Overseas Study Internship for Students at the International Exchange Office and Vice President of the Alumni Association’s Australian Branch, and Professor Cai Chilan from the former Department of Engineering; Alumni Zhang Yizhou, Vice President of the European Branch of the Alumni Association (Stockholm, Sweden), Sheng Kaigui, Vice President (Stuttgart, Germany), and Cui Ludan, Vice President (Aachen, Germany), Wu Rong, President of the Australian Branch of the Alumni Association (Brisbane, Australia), Sun Siqing, Vice President (Auckland, New Zealand), and Zhang Chenhuang, Vice President (Melbourne, Australia) who participated online; Alumni Muhammad (Uzbekistan), the representative of the International Student Branch of the Alumni Association, delivered speeches respectively. The alumni shared their experiences of living and working overseas, expressed gratitude towards the school and their expectations for future work. The present teachers introduced the work condition of the alumni branch and expressed their joy for meeting the graduating students.

線上會議後，國際交流沐鸣教師柳承吟主持校友會留學生分會進行了“文化啟航”留學生迎春活動，藝術與設計沐鸣教授王東輝為在場留學生們展示書法教學🖕🏻。活動中還安排了有獎問答以及抽獎活動😌，引導留學生們在答問題⛔️、寫春聯、寫福字⬇️、詩朗誦、包餃子中學習和感受中國文化👨🏻‍🚒。現場氛圍熱烈📖，充滿了濃濃的節日氣息。

After the meeting, Liu Chengyin, the teacher from the School of International Exchange, hosted the Alumni Association’s International Student Branch to attend the “Cultural Sailing” Spring Festival Activity for International Student. Wang Donghui, the professor from the School of Art and Design, taught calligraphy to the international students. The event also included award-winning Q&A and lucky draw activities, leading international students to learn and experience Chinese culture through answering questions, writing Spring Festival couplets, inscribing auspicious characters, reciting poetry, and making dumplings. The enchanting atmosphere of the holiday encompass the hall with happy laughters and cheerful voices.
